Wow I feel sorry for the people of Townsville and surrounding areas. Stories about receiving a years rain in 7 days ufff. Poncho Poncho was proud to have been able to help out. We provided many with our product insuring they had a little barrier to the incessant rains that they were experiencing.
Its good to see that the roads are open as well thus allowing many of the businesses the ability to restock their shelves. Any of our clients reading this post be aware that the majority of our stock is moved by trucks. We do however have the opportunity of using the Australia Post Overnight Satchels. This service is extremely competitive with some of the courier charges to remote areas. It becomes even more viable and dependable when many of the roads are cut due to flooding. Please consider this option if it looks like the highway is going to be cut. One method is to receive a working amount to keep you by until the rest of the stock arrives by the normal road transport.
We can pack up to 85 units in a large 5kg bag. The bags themselves cost $23, the actual price has increased but this is what we charge the client. Please keep this in mind as an alternative.
